It's a good time to pray for terrorist victims!

Since the Board of Education will no longer be providing video-taping for cablecast (effective July, 2002), suspended delivery of the "Molalla River Reporter" and stopped communication with the "Educational Ambassadors" (September, 2002) I have tried to provide information regarding education concerns for interested persons:

Milwaukee Public Schools board. Mr. Gardner is a supporter of fiscal and educational
accountability and high standards for students. He advocates for parental choice and school-based power for parents and teachers.

Mr. Gardner illustrated for the Board what changes the Milwaukee Public School system has
implemented over the past few years.

Site based hiring

Equalization of per pupil aid

Teacher termination

Site based budget control

Principal training/qualification

Repetition of popular programs

Multi -year school budgeting

Graduation requirements

Each of these elements was quite complex and took 3-5 years to implement.
